Thank you for visiting the Blaine County Land Use Services website! The Director and Land Use Staff are here to answer your questions and provide assistance.

We are located in the County Annex Building on the 2nd floor across the street from the Old County Courthouse.

Land Use Services During COVID-19 Closure

The Land Use and Building Services department intends to continue to serve the public to the best of its ability for essential services. Land Use personnel are working from home and are not in the office. Emails and voice mail will be checked regularly or according to each staff member’s messages. Land Use Services will be following these procedures:

Land Use applications: We will take in applications by email to pzcounter@co.blaine.id.us. If this method does not work for you, and you believe your application is urgent, please contact us by phone or email and we will attempt to work out an alternative. Application fees can be paid by check in USPS.

Public Hearings:  Public hearings on Land Use applications have been suspended until further notice. Our staff is committed to processing applications and getting them on an agenda for hearing as soon as that becomes possible.

Final Plats: We will communicate with the County Surveyor by phone or email if plats are received for review, and obtain County signatures on County plats to the best of our ability. Please call or email if you have a final plat that you believe is in urgent need of recording.
