5B CAN has joined several coalition-based programs including The McClure Center for Public Policy Research, ICLEI150 Race to Zero Campaign, Mountain Towns 2030, National Association of Counties Resilient Counties Advisory Board, SolSmart, and Urban Sustainability Directors Network.

Our participation provides Blaine County with data-driven research, best practices, and other useful resources as we plan to achieve ambitious sustainability and climate goals. Learn more about the organizations we work with to bring effective climate action tools to our community.

The study assesses the links between our changing climate, the economy, and impacts on entire communities in Idaho.

Screen Shot 2022-06-15 at 4.07.36 PMNational Association of Counties Resilient Counties Initiative: NACo works to strengthen county resiliency by building leadership capacity to identify and manage risk, and allow counties to become more flexible and responsive. NACo encourages use of sustainable practices and infrastructure to better prepare and address these issues in a manner that can minimize the impact on local residents and businesses while helping counties save money.
