The Blaine County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce the introduction of our Vulnerable Population Registry through our website www.blainesheriff.com.
The Registry allows people to register a family member living in Blaine County, Idaho who are a part of a vulnerable population, such as those who suffer from Dementia, Alzheimer's Disease, Autism or other special needs. Individuals will be registered with our 911 Communications Record Management System.
If there is a call for service, the Vulnerable Population Registry provides vital information to police, fire, and paramedics as to the specific needs of those on the registry. The information will be stored in a database maintained by the Blaine County Sheriff’s Office and Blaine County Emergency Communications.
“If a first responder needs to interact with the registered individual, having detailed information can greatly impact finding people who are lost or having difficulties, and getting them the assistance they need or returning them home in a timely safe manner,” said Sheriff Steve Harkins. “We are pleased to add this Vulnerable Population Registry to the services we provide our community.”
The registry is voluntary and all information is confidential. To register visit our Public Safety page on our website www.blainesheriff.com
